The deadCenter Teen Board is a group of high school filmmakers from the Oklahoma City area who help shape youth-focused programming and outreach at deadCenter Film, with plans to expand statewide.

Teen Board members gain hands-on experience with how a film festival works, from screening films to engaging with the filmmaking community, while serving as ambassadors for deadCenter in their schools and communities. Each year, the board screens high school festival submissions and selects the Best High School Short award at the deadCenter Film Festival.

Members meet throughout the year, visit local studios, connect with industry professionals, and receive priority consideration for limited-enrollment opportunities within deadCenter University. The Teen Board empowers young filmmakers with access, leadership experience, and a real voice in Oklahoma’s film community.
